The project stems from the observation that many people are unaware that forms of economic activity exist outside of money-based systems. These include, for example, relationship-based neighborhood support and the act of free giving, as is often seen within families.

The platform provides expertise on how these principles can concretely support sustainable economic activity. Often, the issue is not a lack of money, but a lack of knowledge on how to build and maintain relationship-based networks. The Heilraum gathers and shares experiential knowledge gained from around 30 years of involvement in this field.

In this way, underserved areas can be strengthened and, in some cases, revitalized without the need for additional financial resources.

Fifty percent of the funding for this project will go toward hosting costs to ensure the platform remains free to access in the long term. The remaining 50 percent will be used for the further development of the platform.
