The #MSHack25 has once again shown the potential Münster holds when people from diverse backgrounds come together to develop ideas for our city. For us at Open Innovation City Münster , the hackathon is more than just an event – it is open innovation in action: citizens, students, developers, and companies working hand in hand on solutions that move Münster forward.
The highlights:
🥇 AIchhörnchen – AI-powered lost-and-found reports for quick recovery (e.g., of bicycles).
🥈 Agentic.Muenster – Booking citizen service appointments via chat, including automatic document preparation.
🥉 Stolperstimme – An interactive city guide that uses AI to bring Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) to life.
💡 Audience Award: Münster Easy – Digital map for accessible mobility.
✨ Special prize: helpwave – From hackathon idea to successful startup: mobilizing first responders in emergencies.
That is why we are supporting this year's Münster Hack with the Solution Enabler Scholarship: With this, we are not only giving the most promising teams a stage, but also supporting them on their path to implementation with coaching, budget, and networking. A huge thank you to the Digital Hub münsterLAND and all the partners who make this event possible.
