1buddy: Münster's digital onboarding system for international talent
Co-founders Sharik Ahamed (CEO) and Parichay Kumar Mandal (CTO) are international students who experienced the enormous challenges of moving to Germany firsthand. Both spent over 100 hours researching programs and fighting their way through German bureaucracy. That’s when they realized: Important processes shouldn't be this stressful, isolating, or confusing. This realization led to the idea for 1buddy – a single, AI-powered platform that provides systematic, step-by-step guidance for the entire relocation and integration process, even before newcomers arrive.
